What’s Your Web 2.0 Risk Profile?

Blogging. Twitter. Facebook. Email. Web banking. Online shopping. You probably engage in at least one or two of these activities on the Web (and your kids are probably doing twice as much—simultaneously). The Internet has revolutionized the way we gather information, do business, stay in touch and entertain ourselves; however, having the digital world at our fingertips can expose us to some significant personal risks. Take this quiz to determine whether you may be surfing in dangerous waters.

Step 1
  1. Do all computers in your home have up-to-date antivirus and antispyware software?

  4. Do you maintain a blog or Web site that includes content that you have not created yourself (for example, an article cut-and-pasted from another blog or Web site)?

  2. Have you ever lodged a complaint against a business or individual on a public social networking platform?
